Losing Your Mind? 3 Tips For Staying Sane During Mercury Retrograde in Pisces | March 2019



1. Go Beneath The Surface. Listen. . .

I recommend listening to whale songs, uplifting music or binaural beats. It’s a great time to utilize guided meditations, hypnotherapy or have audios with subliminal messages — positive affirmations, playing in the background. (CAUTION: Not while driving or operating machinery, though!)

Listen to your dreams, too! Even if you are one who rarely remembers your dreams, you may get clear and direct messages through your dream state now. Keep a journal near your bed to jot down notes when you wake, even it’s in the middle of the night. 2. Set Daily Reminders!!!

Losing track of time or missing things is entirely possible, especially during this Mercury Retrograde phase. Double-check your calendar, confirm appointments and set double-alarms.

I highly recommend using apps that pop-up with reminders throughout the day anytime. I use (and LOVE) The Vibe app for high-vibe affirmations via notifications on my iPhone every couple hours throughout the day. It’s also got a mediation (with gong sounds optional) timer feature. Use a daily planner with notes to yourself, or post-it notes plastered in places where you’ll see them often — like your desk, fridge or bathroom mirror. Make it easy on yourself to remember what’s most important, whether that’s a task you must do or deadlines to meet, or personal affirmations that uplift you and keep you on track when all else seems to be lost.




3. Balance Alone Time with Time With Others

In the month of March we can more easily get lost in our own worlds. OR… we may too easily become consumed by the realities of others, as the lines between us and them gets blurred.

If you notice yourself slipping into isolation, feeling lonely, or getting wrapped up in your own daydreaming or projects that you’re forgetting to spend time with other people, stop and reconnect with your people. In-person is optimal. You are not alone. We’re in this together. Reach out for support when you need it (even if you think you don’t!), allow yourself to open up to connecting with other people. We need each other now, more than ever.

If you notice yourself getting so caught up in other peoples business or drama, especially when it comes to the taking care of others, make some time to do something for yourself and spend some time alone. Don’t abandon yourself. Your needs matter, too. Sometimes we all need to take a break and tune in to re-align with our true self, what we need and want in any given moment. It’s tough to get an accurate read on that when we spend all of our time with others, especially those nearest and dearest to us.

This is a bit of a tricky thing to remember in the realms of Pisces, where we can feel the need to sacrifice everything for the sake of others, whether that’s through taking care of everything or removing our own presence or involvement from the situation, perhaps feeling like we only make things worse. We may sway from one end of this spectrum to the other in the coming weeks.

Let that be okay. Stay aware, and reconnect or disconnect when you notice yourself tipping too far in one direction. You will stay afloat! You may simply need to readjust your sails from time to time.
