The Last Thing I Wrote on Paper...

I know, I know... Seems like a silly thing to be writing about.  But, this curious question posed by Stella Orange {"What was the last thing you wrote on paper?"} in a recent email got me thinking about how rarely I actually write ON PAPER.

Not tapped into the notes app on my iphone or banged out on the keyboard of my laptop... like on a physical sheet of paper. So, I had to think about it.

Fortunately, I didn't have to think about it for too long, because I realized that I had participated in a live coaching call for a biz course I'm taking just last night -- and I took notes.

Where do I want to be in 30 days?

That was the last thing I wrote on paper.  In teal ink (thanks to my pretty new #pilotG2 pen).

That question I wrote in my notes was part of a visualization exercise designed to help me get clear on what I want, so I can make a plan to get there.

Revisiting my notes was a sign for me to revisit that visualization to get more clarity. (I had been interupted by my 9 year old who didn't want to go to bed right in the middle of that visualization exercise, so it didn't get my undivided attention!)

I believe there is a reason for everything.  No mere coincidences.  So, the fact that my attention was brought back to this question I scribbled down in my notebook, has meaning for me.  And perhaps, for you, too... You are reading this right now and your attention has been brought to this question, too.

So, I encourage you to ask yourself -- Where do YOU want to be in 30 days?

Close your eyes and see yourself 30 days from now...

What are you wearing?

How do you feel?

What are you celebrating?

Who is with you?

Whatever it is that you want in your life, imagine it into existence.  That's where everything begins taking shape.  That's where dreams start to come true.

Then create your plan to get there!

And just maybe, the first clue to help you create what you want to be, do or have in 30 days, is right under your nose.  Jotted down on a piece of paper somewhere.
